About the Role:
In this position, you will work on-site at a TurboTax location as a key member of a team of financial experts. You will assist clients both in-person and virtually who utilize Intuit TurboTax products.
Your main responsibility will be full-service tax preparation, delivering expert advice, calculations, and software support. You will connect clients with a broader team of specialists in business tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services. This role emphasizes collaboration; you will actively engage in client meetings to fully understand each customer's unique financial situation and work together with the appropriate experts for a seamless Intuit experience.

Being a supportive and trusted guide will be crucial as you help clients through various tax scenarios, ranging from simple W-2 filings to complex situations involving business income and life events like marriage or caring for an elderly relative. Additionally, you will play an essential role in expanding TurboTax's client base by building lasting relationships within the community, driving customer loyalty, and attracting new clients through targeted outreach and local engagements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide Tax Expertise: Offer hands-on tax advice and preparation services for TurboTax clients, addressing both simple and complex tax situations. Conduct discovery sessions and comprehensive tax reviews to maximize deductions, minimize liabilities, and provide future tax planning strategies.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: Actively grow a new local customer base for TurboTax by identifying prospects, executing grass-roots marketing, and hosting local events to enhance brand awareness.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem: Develop a deep understanding of clients' financial pictures and guide them towards complementary Intuit solutions that enhance their experience.
• Build Relationships: Connect with clients to establish trust and understanding, transforming one-time transactions into long-term relationships.
• Deliver a Best-in-Class Customer Experience: Create an exceptional customer experience that showcases professionalism and a genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Enrolled Agent (EA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or practicing attorney with substantial tax preparation experience preferred.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as legally required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience preparing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using professional tax preparation software.
• Willingness to expand into additional service areas with training provided by Intuit.
• On-site work at a TurboTax office location is required, primarily during regular business hours.
• Completion of required training and development is mandatory.
• Comfortable promoting TurboTax services and building a local online presence through content creation.
• Bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish) are a plus.
