Responsibilities:

To help us meet our mission LOTTE BIOLOGICS is in need of a Tax Manager on our Finance team.

The Tax Manager, Finance will manage and facilitate the accurate preparation and filing of state and federal tax forms for the company and ensure adequate accounting treatment for each tax item. You will support the finance team to greater performance, create and implement tax plans and work with the accounting and leadership teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and potential areas of risk.

Interact closely with other teams to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise.
Conduct research and analysis on a variety of tax issues and develop strategic tax planning.
Assess potential tax impact of new construction, renovation, and additions.
Review all transactions in order to assess they are in align with sales tax compliance.
Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.
Help to mentor, train, and develop staff members by providing them with leadership and professional guidance.
Maintain business relationships with existing clients and develop new relationships with potential clients to help grow the firm's clientele base and develop additional opportunities for the firm.
Utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks and the tasks of other tax team members.
Performs other duties as assigned.

At least six years of accounting or tax experience required
Active CPA or EA license is a plus
QuickBooks experience preferred
Experience preparing corporate, income and sales tax returns
Experience reviewing tax returns is required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
