What You Will Do:As a Physical Therapist, you will design and implement personalized rehabilitation programs aimed at helping patients regain optimal physical function. Your expertise will encompass therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, physical modalities, gait training, and manual techniques. You will perform thorough evaluations and administer treatments based on physician prescriptions, demonstrating effective communication and compassionate care. Additionally, you may assist in clinic management and mentor students or junior staff, contributing to the growth and efficiency of the department.
Required Skills: - Valid state license or eligible to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist in Illinois
- Strong understanding of rehabilitation techniques, including therapeutic exercise and manual therapy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to motivate and educate patients
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and adapt treatment plans accordingly
- Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to providing top-quality care
Nice to Have Skills: - Experience working in outpatient settings
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
- Additional certifications in specialized therapy techniques
Preferred Education and Experience: - Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Prior experience in outpatient rehabilitation or similar clinical environments
Other Requirements: - Ability to work day shifts on a flexible schedule starting from April 6, 2026
- Willingness to adhere to all healthcare regulations and safety protocols
- Availability for licensure-related reimbursements when applicable
