Fellowship trained Trauma and Critical Care Surgeon sought to join the Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery in the Department of Surgery at a university hospital. Join a ACS-COT verified, NY State designated Level 1 Trauma Center. Ideal candidate will possess outstanding clinical skills, a strong interest in education and research, and must qualify for a faculty appointment. Responsibilities will include trauma, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery coverage at a rapidly growing tertiary care center. Opportunities for elective general surgery exist and are encouraged. Robust clinical and basic science research opportunities are also available and strongly encouraged. Rank and tenure will depend on qualifications. Location allows for easy access to Manhattan via LIRR and Long Island beaches. Best of the Island!
