Trauma Surgeon- Tampa/Saint Petersburg Metro Area

We are recruiting BC/BE Trauma Surgeons for multiple opportunities on the Gulf Coast of Florida in the Tampa/Saint Petersburg Metro area. Positions offering very competitive compensation package, excellent comprehensive and flexible benefits, PTO and CME time/allowance and strong support systems.

BC Trauma Surgeons in Surgical Critical Care for Level II Trauma Center:
- Must be fellowship trained and BC in Surgical Critical Care and General Surgery by the ABS
- Must hold or be able to obtain Florida medical license prior to start
- ATLS required
- 12 hour primary in-house coverage, plus 12 hour secondary call from home with 30 minute response (rarely called in)
- 15 shifts per month of Emergency General Surgery
- 12 OR's (including a cysto room and 1 designated room for trauma)
- 34 bed Emergency Department Volume- 46k
- 60 ICU beds
- General Surgery Residency Program launched in 2018
- Program has 24 hour APP & Surgical Resident coverage
