Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift assignment requiring active NY licensure, Epic experience, and specialized fetal monitoring certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Assigned to Labor & Delivery D6E unit
- Uses Epic EMR system, prior experience required
- Navy blue scrubs are required
- Local candidates from specified counties within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
- Request for time off (RTO) must be submitted with application
- More than three call outs in a 13-week period may lead to contract termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks
- Only medical exemptions for flu vaccination signed by a licensed provider will be accepted
- No blocked scheduling is allowed
- Travelers may only apply to one position at a time and travel pairs are not permitted
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (NCC or Intermediate AWHONN) certification issued within the last 3 years required; proof of class registration may be accepted with certification due for compliance
- Certifications must be issued by AHA or RQI
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
- US Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)
