Requirements
- Active RN License
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- BLS Certification
- At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Psychiatric setting
- Additional requirements determined by the client facility

Duties and Responsibilities
As a Psychiatric RN, you will play a vital role in providing care to patients facing mental health challenges, working within a team to deliver comprehensive medical support.
- Assess the mental health status of patients with behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with medical and mental health providers to design and deliver patient care.
- Administer and monitor the effectiveness and side effects of psychotropic medications.
- Assist patients and their families in managing maladaptive behaviors and planning healthy lifestyle changes.
- Exercise balanced judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions in difficult or confrontational scenarios.
