About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Business Development to spearhead our strategic partnerships. This pivotal role will focus on multi-modality discovery partnerships through IND-enabling studies. Ideal candidates will possess a demonstrated history of successful business development, including securing multiple strategic deals annually.
The VP will guide a team of business developers, cultivate long-term partner relationships, and reinforce our position as the partner of choice. A commitment to innovation, collaboration, and a comprehensive understanding of the drug discovery and development processes across various modalities is crucial.
Applicants should hold a BSc, MSc, or PhD in a life sciences discipline, or a relevant advanced degree such as an MBA, backed by 10-15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. A robust network in the Cambridge/Boston ecosystem—including connections in pharma, biotech, and venture capital—is highly desirable.
This leadership role demands strong analytical, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a self-motivated and strategic mindset, thriving in a fast-paced, global, multi-national organization.
