About the Role

The Company is on the lookout for a Vice President for Commercial Land Development, a critical leadership role responsible for spearheading large-scale commercial land projects. The ideal candidate will possess robust project management skills, a talent for business development, and outstanding communication abilities. Your primary focus will be on ensuring successful project completions, nurturing client relationships, and adhering to local codes and standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Exercising professional judgment to execute engineering tasks effectively.
• Monitoring project schedules and budgets to ensure timely delivery.
• Acting as a technical resource for the project team.
• Contributing to business development initiatives and preparing engineering services proposals.
• Cross-marketing the firm’s diverse services.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 15 years of experience in large-scale land development.
• A minimum of 3 years specifically in commercial land development projects.
• Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration in the State of Texas.
• A proven track record in managing site civil and land development projects.
• A strong understanding of project accounting.
• Excellent networking, collaboration, and partnering skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
