About the Role

Vibrant State College is actively seeking a dynamic Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to lead the charge in creating an inclusive and equitable academic environment. As a pivotal member of the leadership team, you will spearhead initiatives that champion diversity and belonging at all levels of the college community. Your role will involve strategic planning, program development, and evaluation aimed at fostering cultural competency, social justice, and civil rights. You will collaborate extensively with various stakeholders to build strong relationships and maintain a culture of unity and support.

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated, student-centered leader with a strong understanding of cultural dynamics, biases, and pluralism. A commitment to servant leadership and the community college mission is essential. A Master's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Doctorate. Applicants should have at least five years of professional experience in diversity and inclusion programs, human resources, or a related field with a proven focus on equity impact.

We are looking for a leader who excels in communication, conflict resolution, and coalition-building. You should be a data-informed decision-maker with high emotional intelligence, capable of overseeing the design and implementation of equity and inclusion training programs. Be prepared to engage in constructive conversations to facilitate positive changes within the organization.
