About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Vice President of Engineering who possesses a strong technical vision and an impressive track record in leading engineering teams. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing engineering strategies that align with our product roadmap, ensuring the seamless integration of hardware and software architectures.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Inspiring and motivating a cohesive engineering team to drive innovation.
• Managing program development to achieve our product vision effectively.
• Providing technical leadership to enhance and refine our approach to development.
• Making strategic contributions as a member of the Executive Management Team.
• Engaging with customers to better understand their needs and foster relationships.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A four-year degree in electrical, electronic, or software engineering (MBA preferred).
• At least 15 years of experience in technology engineering.
• A strong background in integrated solutions that involve both hardware and application software components.
• Experience in a regulated environment, such as medical device development.
• Knowledge of Quality Systems Regulations and familiarity with product development methodologies like Agile and Lean.
• A proven track record of managing multiple development projects while improving project estimation.
• Experience in corporate strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions, and technical due diligence processes.
• Exceptional communication, training, and presentation skills.
• Strong collaboration abilities to effectively engage with diverse teams.
