About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Lending Initiatives to be a key driver in the growth of our lending platform. This role is centered on sourcing and originating debt investments within the lower middle market, particularly focusing on recurring revenue and cash-flow term loans for software, SaaS, and tech-enabled services companies. Your success will stem from leveraging strong, established relationships with intermediaries, including technology-focused investment banking boutiques, venture capital investors, and growth equity sponsors.
This relationship-driven position calls for a professional with 8-15+ years of experience in private credit origination, investment banking, or venture lending, along with a well-developed network in the technology and financial sectors. Key responsibilities will involve:
- Maintaining a strong credit-first mindset
- Collaborating with internal underwriting and credit teams
- Representing our firm at industry events
The ideal candidate will possess a background in tech-focused banking or lending platforms and demonstrate a track record of consistently generating deal flow. We are looking for someone with a proactive and entrepreneurial spirit who is eager to contribute to our firm's expansion efforts.
This position is based on the East Coast, with a preference for candidates located in New York or the broader East Coast region. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing firm backed by a long-term family office and play a crucial role in our East Coast origination activities.
