Hydrilla is a leader in the Commercial Pool and Aquatics Industry, working on some of the most iconic pools and aquatic projects Australia wide. Our work varies from Design and Construction, Major Renovations, Repairs and Servicing for pools and water treatment systems in public and commercial spaces.

To keep our teams well stocked and organised, we have a newly created warehouse storeperson role based in our Dudley Park, SA location. This role is a core support to not only our project teams, but service technicians too, making sure they get the equipment and materials they need, and not a moment too soon.

This role reports to the Project Director and would ideally be full time, however part time hours for would be considered for the right candidate.

Duties will include but not be limited to

  • Materials: Receiving, unpacking, and sorting incoming goods and materials, accepting deliveries, cross referencing good with purchase orders
  • Equipment: Clean and sort tools, coordinate Maytronics repairs and quoting
  • Logistics: Pack, weight and arrange outbound logistics
  • Storage: Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move and store products according to project or general stock
  • Recording: Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stocktakes, including company tools
  • Cleanliness: Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy, and well-organised, as well as other general housekeeping duties
  • WHS: Adhering to all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Collaborating: Working with the wider team to support the smooth running of the warehouse
  • Deliveries: On an ad hoc basis, drive to project sites across Adelaide to collect and deliver goods and materials

The successful candidate will possess:

Essential:

  • Unrestricted rights to work in Australia (we are unable to sponsor overseas applications or support working visas with restrictions currently)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a storeperson
  • Forklift license
  • Current driver's license
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Energetic, reliable, and a positive "can-do" attitude
  • Self-driven and proven ability to work alone
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong focus on attention to detail
