Become the Wound Care Coordinator you envision! You will oversee and develop wound care services in accordance with regulatory standards and physician orders. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with clinical teams to offer guidance on wound care treatments.
- Leading educational initiatives for hospital staff and educating patients and families about wound care.
- Maintaining ongoing education to stay current with the latest advancements and techniques in wound care.
Qualifications
- License/Certification: RN, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist required for acute rehab hospitals; RN required for long-term acute care hospitals.
- Mandatory CPR certification.
- Education & Experience:
- Minimum one year of wound care experience required.
- Continuous education in wound care through seminars/professional organizations required.
- Skills: Effective communication, decision-making, and the ability to work independently.
